It's been so long since I have made a group, I'm sort of drawing a bit of a blank with RP threads -- so don't be afraid to hit me up with some suggestions

I feel like there's not too many people in this group to where it would get clogged past the point of productiveness, and I think that the charrie workshop is the best place to do collab's bc people can post what they have so far for a charrie and then ask for collabs and such
If it becomes an issue though, we can most certainly create an additional thread!

But on the ratings list, with the category that asks for the Investment of the Gauntlet, that just means the character's determination to win and do well, correct? Or does it mean something completely different?

It might be a good idea to have a specific rp/collaboration thread? That way people requesting for rps won't be drowned out in the welcome thread, and people collaborating with each other won't spam the welcome thread and can keep their ideas together?

Competition Two will be "Something random: a scavenger hunt that requires all components, a team event of some kind, a simulation of some kind, etc" is coming up
if anyone has any suggestions now would be the time to voice them!

I like the idea of a team scavenger hunt. I also think it'd be hilarious interesting if people who hate each other are put on the same team, as kind of a secret test to see how well you adapt to stress and things not going your way, so to speak? So the worst you argue with someone, the less you might get done, and that will actually lower your initial ranking? I hope that made sense. >.>

Cool. Sometimes I'm not sure if I'm even speaking English sometimes. XD Um...Hm. Not sure, to be honest. It could be things that could be beneficial to their training, it could be things that were just randomly picked and tossed about in random places. It could be really interesting, and maybe they're given a list of items to find and hints on where to find them, but there's not actually anything there. It's just one huge trolly assignment that really judges the competitors on their ability to adapt and work on a team, and just how quick they are to turn on each other. I don't know, there's a lot of directions you can go in. ^^"

I think an interesting component would be that each team gets paired with an instructor that notes how the groups work together and whatnot xD

We could just pretend they've all been made. XD Oooor, there are instructors that are "paired" with groups, but they oh-so-conveniently disappear and confuse people, but they're all just kind of watching from a distance. That way we can sort of avoid having enough instructors made by then? But I definitely think that could be interesting. Especially if the instructor starts adding fuel to the fire, such as intentionally trying to turn people against each other.

I mean there doesn't necessarily have to be an RP'd part to that, though!

I have a suggestion, I was wondering if we could have a character tracker thread of some sort. This would allow others to follow along with each character's storyline in chronological order. I keep finding myself reading a present story and I am searching through the threads for past conversations in order to understand it fully.

It can be something simple for example;
James Conner: Courtyard -> Wishing Well -> Room 002

Or it can be a little more detailed, example:
James Conner: Met Beth in the Courtyard and talked about the upcoming race and family issues. They left to the Wishing Well to test their luck but Beth needed to leave because things began to get awkward. James returned to Room 002 where he is now talking to his new roommates.

I am also open to any other suggestions concerning the format. It can also just be a detail added at the end of someone's character profile. That is edited when the character moves to a new location.

Oh yes, haha, I forgot about that one since it wasn't on the top 5, but I do like that thread, maybe we could just add where the specific character was previously in addition to where they are currently located. :)

Yea a bit, but it doesnt have to be a long summary. I dont mind going back myself and reading it in the threads. I would just like to know which thread to start at and then work my way through their story. Haha sorry if I am sounding complicated.

Bc I know personally, my chronological order of events does not go alone with the sequence I RP'd things

What you could do is just have a list with links of all the places, and just write all the character pairings that were rped in that place. Like:

Horse Stables:
So and so with So and so

Training Grounds:
So and so with so and so.

Nothing specific, just links in the title so that if someone sees a pairing they like they can just go straight to it. Or something. I'm chatty today. Stop meh.
