Around the World in 80 Books discussion

Post your nominations here for the May group reads. A significant portion of the book must be set in the featured location. We will be reading books set in Sweden, the Midi-Pyrénées region of France, and the UK county of Huntingdonshire. Here are our group lists to get you started:

For book set in Sweden, I would like to nominate The Hundred-Year-Old Man Who Climbed Out of the Window and Disappeared by Jonas Jonasson

For Sweden, I nominate Doctor Glas by Hjalmar Söderberg.

Sweden: Gösta Berling's Saga by Selma Lagerlöf, who was the first woman to win the Nobel Prize for literature (for this book).

Aren't we finishing our tour of England this month? I don't see anything for that location.

For Midi-Pyrenees, I nominate The Return of Martin Guerre by Natalie Zemon Davis.

Huntingdonshire - The Children of Green Knowe by L.M. Boston

I realize this is a children's book, but according to Wikipedia, "Green Knowe is a series of six children's novels written by Lucy M. Boston. It features a very old house, Green Knowe, based on Boston's home at the time, The Manor in Hemingford Grey, Huntingdonshire. In the novels she brings to life the people she imagines might have lived there."
