What creature out of legend or folklore would you most have liked to see in the wizarding world? Thank You Mary for this idea!

Jackalopes.

A creature like a jackrabbit (which is, incidentally, a hare) with the male having horns like a pronghorn antelopes. It woos the normal-jackrabbit-looking female by attacking large animals, many of which will kindly feign to be injury to make it look fierce and powerful. They also gather and sing by the light of the full moon, and have beautiful voices.
