My sister is an author on GR. She recommended the site to me and I've been on here since 2011.

GR feels like a good place for learning about books and authors. A friend of mine had been part of GR and as I read his posts, I got interested.
My sister used Goodreads all the time and raved on about it all the time. I decided to check it out and made an account to annoy her. After I explored it, I loved it and was glad of that one spiteful moment.

I was searching for list of best agatha christie books when I found goodreads. I have loved this site ever since
I started searching up good books to read that are a good match for me and I would probably like. And I started noticing that a lot of times, Goodreads would pop up and there would be threads and lists about the kinds of books. Most of the books I read, I found out through GR. I found out about it like last year or so but joined this year.
Found it as an app on Facebook:P
