Yes but I may be a little late. I'm waiting for my copy to come due from the library.

It's limited to your reading? :😉

LOL. I didn't mean it limits your reading. I was poking fun meaning your only erratic in your reading habits.

Did you already finish The Mirror’s Truth ?

Nope but the author said I don't need to read mirror truth first because it follows new MC's, but there's been a few little spoilers for the mirror truth and I'm kinda bummed now haha
I'm really looking forward to it Scott! MF said it was darker then BR, so hopefully I'm in for a deep dark treat 😈

It's darker and yet you'll feel more empathy for the characters.

Oh-oh......I hope this isn't a letdown. I barely continued after book one but then two and three were awesome.

Awesome Craig I'll start tomorrow and try and speed through it. I've been pretty hot & cold with this whole series. Book two & three were pretty rad, so I hope this doesn't disappoint.
At Chapter 35. Starts off slow and now really going, not sure yet where DeCastell is taking us, but I have a bad feeling!
Apparently I'm reading the same thing, at the same time, so I might as well join in. Not as far, progression wise though.I'm somewhere around chapter 26. The humor is still up to par, but as said by pretty much everyone else, I have only a very vague notion where this story is going (which is weird, given that I'm over 30% in).

Welcome aboard :) This books is peculiar a bit and I was disappointed at first, but...keep reading! :) You're in for some treat :)
Still waiting on the book to come due from the library then I'll expedite it to catch up......hopefully before everybody is done. :(

Well I finished last night. I thoroughly enjoyed the last half of the book. DeCastell really does a fine job of buttoning things up. I will miss the characters.

I've seen it just now, ugh, what a heartbreak :(

Yep. I had a plan to read it but life had other plans. Guess who won? :)
It seems to be universal, but since I don't have an audiobook, my reading time is limited each day and I'm not going as fast as I normally go. I'm only around 35% after 19 days, so no rush :D

☽Luna☾ wrote: "Ch 33[spoilers removed]"Peculiar indeed. But I had that feeling with all the other installments too. It meanders quite a lot and is heavily based on Falcio getting out of tough situations using just his sharp mind and his wit. Which, granted, is quite funny at times. Although I do like Brasti's humor more, it's more accessible.
I'm around chapter 36 now, moving slowly. I agree that the (view spoiler).

Yeah I'm feeling the same. I like reading it but I'm just so disappointed. I actually like magdan.. Haha oops
Craig wrote: "☽Luna☾ wrote: "Ch 33[spoilers removed]"You feel it too? 😩"
Lol you no it. I wish I liked it more. Somethings are bothering me for example (view spoiler)

Yeah ive felt the same about the series too. I would say it's pretty average, I really liked book two & three but they didn't come without issues either. I'm just sick of it. It's sort of becoming a trope for this authors novels.

Yeah I agree that part was cool & unpredictable 😊
Through chapter 13.I feel like I'm reading the same conversations and the same situations from the previous books. And to repeat my question from the previous book: (view spoiler) And also, this series would be more fun without Falcio and that is my main issue with this series; Kest and Brasti need more "screen time" and not just a banter or a funny threat/remark here and there.
