the gauntlet discussion

In this thread, you and your group members need to discuss how your charries worked as a team and how their night went. This will determine their rankings -- if you post nothing, we will make it up ourselves, and it will most likely be dismal results.

Include anything here, included but not limited to: injuries, mental breakdowns, one person continuously walking away so they shock themselves or group members, or anyone talking off their wristbands.

I can definitely picture Pierce knocking a team member unconscious by accident and delaying the team as long as it took the person to wake up -- probably how they would figure out if you don't remain with your team you get shocked xD

William's a handsome sneaky bastard. And unfortunately he holds the slightest bit of an alliance with Dae. Of course, William is all for himself, not so much for the team- which means that he was more than willing to spend the night playing clumsy just so he could accidentally push Ophelia down a set of stairs where she'd twist her poor little ankle. Poor girl.

Nate is just praying he survives the night. The tension between the group members is so thick, and Nate doesn't know how to handle it. He just wants to get the job done as fast as possible so they can at least get the rankings, but because he doesn't really have a backbone to say that, he'd probably make passive suggestions that no one would hear and just try and get people to agree to do something.

because he's a dick so he's probably did something to make him mad xD

Karaline has no problem with anyone besides Pierce because he's the psycho who thought about trying to drown her and left her in the dark in the wave pool. She is in it to win it!

Ophelia probably tries to work with everyone, but not at all oblivious to the tension literally everywhere in their little group. She definitely tries to work with Nate, Karaline, and Lucretia. But of course, it's a little hard to stay on task when you get accidentally pushed down some steps? Of course, she doesn't throw around any blame because obviously Will didn't mean to hurt her . . . Right? No, of course not. It was an accident and she's quick to forgive even if the little incident leaves her limping and struggling to keep up with the group.

Pierce would definitely help Ophelia around after she's hurt, lending his shoulder to support her weight -- because he's the strongest boy and she's the weakest link, and he owes her one for straightening his nose not because he kinda likes her... or just hates her less than everyone else

Nate makes a wide birth around Pierce. There's no way he's getting caught up in that VanKent whirlwind. He has at least that much sense. Just follow the lead of the others, try to stay out of the path of death glares thrown back and forth between Pierce and Dae.

Nate probably is someone who seems like he has a good head on his shoulders and being trained, Kara would try to hear out his suggestions and voice them if she likes them. Cause she's all about empowerment!

Pierce would most likely make a comment like "Kara you're only listening to him because you think he might wife you -- just because he's a Delacroix doesn't mean he's going to win, just look at him, or his two dead brother's track record"

At least Nate doesn't go around spewing hatred with every word that comes out of his mouth. Not that Nate would ever say that, he's too weak to actually make a statement. So he'd just retreat into the background an let Pierce and Dae fight it out, and maybe with Kara and Lucretia he can get a few things accomplished. Ophelia was off-limits, because apparently Pierce has a monopoly on her?

Oh my god but Ophelia would notice that hesitation to talk to her and she'd be so 'oh no, be my friend ;-;' And she has no problem accepting Pierce's help, mostly because she feels bad for slowing the whole team down, but also because it doesn't take long to come to depend on that really strong shoulder. Almost like he's used to carrying the weight of expectation or something

Maybe if you weren't such a dick all the time we'd be getting through this faster. Everyone seems to be getting along just fine but you're the problem."

Forever and always trying to minimize the amount of issues she causes because group has enough tension as isssss
