We travel, some of us forever, to seek other states, other lives, other souls.
Anais Nin
~Name~
Covered Snow
~Origin of Name~
Covered Snow's mother noticed that her daughter had light orange fur covering a snow colored pelt. Thus the name, 'Covered Snow'.
~Age~
Six years
~Gender~
Female
~Appearance~

~Personality~
Covered Snow, or as most tigers call her, Cover, will never stay in the same place for more than, at the most, two nights. Unless she absolutely must, then this is always the case. She does not feel comfortable settling down in one area for a long period of time because she knows that her enemies (more explanation on them under history) would be able to find her better. One of the great downsides with moving from place to place constantly is that she never stays in one place long enough to make any friends. Without friends or a family she comes off as somewhat rude and selfish. But this is only because of her lack in experience with other tigers. But if she were able to find a mate and someplace that she thinks she would be able to stay then she would open up.
~History~
The thick grass rustled nearby. The frightened mother whipped her head around, but was unable to see what had caused the commotion. Already spooked by the series of rustling in the thick grass around her, the mother wrapped herself tighter around her cubs.
"It's alright, I'm here. Nothing will harm you," she soothed her whimpering cubs. One of them was a light orange and white tiger, and the other a dark orange and black. (view spoiler)
While the mother had her head bent down to her cubs, a giant male tiger crept out of the grass. (view spoiler) He was a least two times the size of the mother tiger and could easily kill her now.
((male tigers p.o.v.)) Only a pounce away and he could get her off of his territory for good. She had been ignorant enough to pass his scent markers and give birth to her cubs on his land. Instead of killing her when she was vulnerable, like in her sleep, he had been somewhat intrigued by her and had waited and watched her until this moment. Now was the perfect chance to teach her a lesson.
((mother tigers p.o.v.)) As her cubs burrowed themselves into their mothers flank and let out a squeal of alarm, the mother tiger knew something was wrong. Her head spun back and the last thing she saw was outstretched claws grabbing at her face.
((orange and white cubs p.o.v)) The female cub was wrenched sideways as the other tiger dragged her mother away. Before she knew what was fully going on, she heard her mothers voice one last time saying, "Good has come." The female cub did not know what that meant, but would later on in her life figure it out. Without one more thought she quickly whispered to her brother, "Follow me as fast as you can," and dashed away into the grass to her left. For fear of seeing the male tiger following her instead of her brother, she could only pray that he was following. The female cub thought, I must never stop running my whole life in case that tiger finds me and my brother and does what he has done to my mother to us. I
must never let that happen.
And thus is why Covered Snow has been traveling her whole life.
When Covered Snow finally stopped at the edge of a forest, which was just two tail lengths (about 3 feet, the normal length of a full grown tigers tail) away from the edge of the male tigers territory, she noticed with anguish that her brother had, in fact, not followed her. The male tiger had jumped him just as he began to run behind his sister. Covered Snow mourned for days and punished herself by not sleeping until the moon was just beginning to sink back down. Since Covered Snow did not have a mother to show her how to hunt, by luck she found other tigers while hunting to watch and learn from them. Because she learned her life skills this way Covered Snow can sneak up on almost anything without ever being detected until she wants to be.
To this day she still continues to travel around, and since she does not have another tiger to teach her that the tiger that killed her family wouldn't be following her then she still believes that he is. This is also why she continues to travel and not mark a territory of her own.

Mother: Dawns Light {deceased}
Father: Unknown {if someone wants to make her father then I am fine with that}
Brother: Wind {deceased}
~Mate/Crush~
None, but if she had a mate then she would most likely stop traveling around and maybe he would be able to tell her that that tiger was not following her anymore...just an idea for her mate if anyone wants to make him
~Cubs~
none
~Other~
I would be very excited to see Covered Snow get over her fear of this tiger with the help of a mate...maybe some drama and stuff can happen between them or whatnot... :)
