Can anyone recommend a book or series that does not end in tragedy or a lot of death? It can be a romance, drama, comedy, action, paranormal, fantasy, or all of the above. Most of the books I've stumbled on lately ended with the death of many characters or a depressing ending instead of on a positive or happy note.
my favorite urban fantasy book of all time is Kresley Cole, Immortals After Dark series, the world building is exceptional, romance is great, funny, you won't be able to get enough of the characters, and Nix needs a book of her own!
author:Bella Forrest - A Shade of a Vampire (50 book series)author:Jennifer L. Armentrout - A Lux Novel
I hated the first Bella Forrest book. The writing was so bad I couldn't finish it. I can't understand why it has so many positive ratings.
Tricia O'Malley's Mystic Cove series. Sweet, charming, and intriguing. I think it's right what you're looking for.
Odd that I stumbled onto this thread when I just posted about a dragon-shifter trilogy I finished in the self-promo area of the group... :D
On the light romances with (minimal) steam involving witches, I loved the Jane Madison books by Mindy Klasky

Just read this as a change from my usual historical romance fare. Thoroughly enjoyed it and wonder if there are more books similar to this. Many thanks
