Lake Lyn is a remote lake that isn't used since the water is poisonous to shadowhunters. This is the lake it is said the Angel Raziel had risen from. The fair folk drink from the lake because they supposedly get visions, but the shadowhunters get hallucinations.The lake is the third mortal instrument, the mortal mirror.
