That's deep....I dunno, man

Smaller


So small,
Forever irrelevant to the course of time and the movement of space—for the scape of all grows ever outward, and out relevance forever shrinks.

The void of light-less futures entrances all, as that vast emptiness gallops outwards into vacuums it creates. Yet we make the most of ourselves—specs not even visible where it all began, at the heart of pandemonium now deserted and unknown.

We’re meant to live, whereas we are only to die within the grasp of this rock we ruin. An existential crisis, they call it—when we begin to discover gravity.

A speck of dust
floating through pathways
of light, blazing a trail,
taking the road not yet traveled,
it is carving a name for itself,
for it knows that it is unique,
and will one day,
be somebody's whole world

a speck of dust
on which, rests a whole world of
atoms and molecules,
making substances no one has even
conceived of being possible to exist,
they are the future

a speck of dust
larger even than some of the earth's greatest creations,
organisms smaller than it
have grown into forces strong enough to rock the world,
cells, as brave and noble as the dust,
have run to win their race,
knowing that it is fate,
and that this is the culmination

I was once the size of a speck of dust
and so were you
now look at what
we've grown into
