Mythical Haven discussion

Magically Nox lead Arthur and Freedom and Merlin down the path. "Here we are."

Nox swatted at Merlin. "I don't have to. She's on her way I'm s-"

"NOXYYYYYYY!!!!" A high pitched female voice squealed, coming from everywhere.

Nox cringed. "Brace yourself. She's over the top."

Nox shoved Merlin away. "I will!"

The doors of the tower burst open and a girl with long blonde hair came speed floating out. She halted in front of Nox and gave him a weird look. "What did you do to yourself...?" She asked.

Nox grinned. "You like it? I wanted something new."

She raised an eyebrow. "Sure sweetie." She smiled brightly. "What brings you here?"

Nox gestured at Freedom, Merlin, and Arthur. "Them. Arthur, the dragon, needs help."

Crysa hardly gave the dragon and phoenix a glance, but she frowned at Freedom. "Oh cool," she said dully.

Crysa narrowed her eyes. "That depends on what your dragon needs," she said slowly.

Crysa wrinkled her nose and looked at Arthur. "Why don't you just teach him to use his half form? People don't go after Dragons who know how to use their half form."

Crysa's interest in the Phoenix peaked. "How interesting!" She hovered around Merlin, examining him. "I've never seen a Phoenix with a human form!"

Nox made a face at Merlin. Birds were show offs. Especially that one.

Nox snorted, being struck by a sudden realization that Merlin was still Freedom's pet.

"Fascinating," Crysa muttered. "I'll come back to you later." She pat Merlin's head and flitted over to Arthur. "Hello there sweetie!" She crooned, petting Arthur's nose.

Crysa circled him. "Aww you're just a little baby! Maybe four or five? At least your half form would be four or five." She looked at Freedom. "How old is he?"

Crystal smiled cheerily. "He's adorable! Oh wait!" She looked to Nox. "I'm disappointed in you!"

"Can't imagine why so please explain," Nox said flatly.

"You didn't give introductions! You're the mutual friend here!"

Nox sighed. "Freedom, Merlin, Arthur," he said pointing to them in turn while facing Crystal. He faced Freedom and Merlin and Arthur. "Crystal," he stated, pointing at Crysa.

"Oh most definitely. Do you have the blood for me to mix it with?" Crysa asked.

"Well I figured you'd at least bring the supplies for me to work with. Bloodlines are important, and mixing blood can sometimes make changes. I assumed you had a preference of what blood I mixed his with." Crysa shrugged. "Minor set back. Let's bring him inside so I can examine him and figure out what would be compatible."

Crysa cocked her head at Merlin. "You're just so fascinating! I'll trust your judgment." She looked to Freedom. "Mind donating to blood to the needy?" She asked in a cheerful tone.

"Well if he was intentionally trying to hurt either of you he could have done it looooong ago. Back in a mo!" Crysa popped out of view.

Nox gave a thumbs up to Merlin. "Thanks for being you!"

"Forms?" Nox questioned.

Nox bust up laughing. "You poor thing," he said to Freedom.

"And a fox and a magician," Nox added, not helping the situation.

Crysa appeared for a split second, stabbed Freedom's arm with a needle, and drew some blood, then popped away.

Nox turned into a panther and sat down. "So. How's it going?" He asked happily.

Nox sighed. "Yeah okay. I shoulda figured that was coming."

Nox smirked - as much as a panther could smirk - and said, "Yeah, just make sure it's actually just a panther."

"Then you'd probably be right," Nox agreed.

Crysa popped into view. "Does Arthur have a high pain tolerance?" She asked.

"You think highly of your self apparently." Crysa sighed. "I have to give him a shot..."

"About as much as a shot would hurt," Crysa said plainly, giving Freedom a 'duh!' look.

"Darling, I don't think you're understanding my meaning," Crysa said to Merlin. "This shot will hurt to him as much a shot would hurt to a human child. Its not relative. If I were to give this shot to a human, they would pass out from pain. Mixing and tainting blood is not a painless process, sad as it is."

Crysa sighed. "I'm not an amateur," she muttered to herself, but strode over to Arthur. She smiled at the dragon. "Hello there sweetie!"

"This might hurt juuuuust a little bit," Crysa said, disguising the warning in her special voice for babies and animals. She snapped her fingers and a needle that was about as big as one of the cheap Walmart flashlights appeared in her hand.

Crysa slowly raised the needle to an unprotected spot on Arthur's neck, and, in quick succession, plunged the needle into the spot, injected the blood, pulled the needle away, and took a few steps away, waiting for his reaction.

"Technically yes," Crysa said, snapping the needle away. "But it'll take attackers one more try to realize he's protected and tainted. Hopefully it'll happen here and I'll be able to take care of it for you. Oh, as a side note, he might pass out. It's a sideaffect usually."

Crysa rolled her eyes. "Fine. Be high and mighty. Some demons don't need to track blood after they see the dragon they're chasing."

"Then shoo!" Crysa waved Freedom away.

"Kay bye nice visiting you Crysa!" Nox turned into a human.

Crysa turned to him and got an expression that suggested she'd forgotten he'd made himself look like some sort of weird demented person.
