Skyra Ryder maneuvered around a tree, seeing a possible landing area in the school's courtyard. If I go too far, Sebastian and the girl may be left too far behind. Skyra spared at the tiny form within her clutches and would have gave a smirk if possible. "Time to go down now Sabine."

Jasmine (jasminethetallirishflower) Sebastian had fleetingly entered Sabine's mind but was quickly put out as soon as they were in the air. Instead there was only pure terror and a slight sickness in the stomach. She held onto a talon for dear life, not daring to let go. The banshee felt as though she was on the rollercoaster from Hell. Up, down, and constantly jerking from side to side. Hearing the crackle of fire and the screams of the dying and injured didn't help matters. When the dragon's paw opened, Sabine simply stated, "I'm going to lose my supper." The poor girl was a alarming shade of mint green, and her eyes seemed to roll inside her head. "Down would be lovely."

message 8: by Drax (new)

Drax RavenKnight (draxhollowknight) Nagrom sprinted in the direction of Almon, still toting Raylin, whether she liked it or not. His arm wrapped around her legs, hand gripping her thigh. He didn't want to drop her at the speed he was running. He was a dragon, after all. And he was fast, faster than most, as he was meant to be nigh-unbeatable. The most effective guards were Titan Dragons.

That was working out pretty swell, huh? His employer had gotten separated from him because he was being bitchy. He felt his pride sting a bit, but it was necessary. He'd make up for it with loyal service. Sadly.

((I feel my posts have lost their flare))

Skyra's sharp gaze snapped down to her own talon. If you puke in my hand... Skyra's voice was sharp and regal, giving a warning a she already started to dip low with her sleek figure. Speed rocketed her to the ground for a last minute pull, straining her muscles. The courtyard was so narrow!

message 10: by Jasmine (new)

Jasmine (jasminethetallirishflower) ((I'm sure you'll get back into the swing of things. It might be because you haven't RPed Skyra for a while. :) ))

"If you don't land soon, I won't be able to stop it," Sabine replied, regretting it as soon as she opened her mouth. For suddenly the dragon rocketed down to earth. The wind howled in her ears and snagged on her curls, and the girl became absolutely breathless. That always seemed to happen when their was too much air. Despite the fact that there was plenty of it for you to use, you never seemed to get a lungful. It was ironic, really. Soon they were on the ground, and Sabine poked her head out between Skyra's talons. "Oh my..." was all she could say. Her stomach rumbled, and her skin turned a darker shade of green. "I'm never flying. Never again. Nope. Nu-huh. Not a hope in -" Suddenly she stopped, for she feared if she continued talking something would come up. The banshee clamped her mouth shut tightly, trying with all her might not to get sick.

message 18: by Jenna ⭐ (new)

Jenna ⭐ (sungkew) "Would you mind putting me down now?" Those were the first words out of Raylin the moment they even neared the courtyard. With every single step Nagrom took -- it was more like every leap with how fast he was going -- she felt herself grow a little more nauseous. If there was such thing as boat sickness, could there be something similar called dragon sickness or something? Raylin was pretty sure that with the way she felt right then that it was one hundred percent possible. Either that, or she was just frustrated with being toted around like a bag of flour. Take your pick.

Roth on the other hand, wasn't entirely sure if he was having a blast running from oncoming enemy fire (literally enemy fire) or if he was about to have a freak out over the fact that he could have been killed. If anyone asked, though, it was definitely the first one. He was a dragon, for Pete's sake. He wasn't afraid of anything (other than needles, centipedes, and Twihards, but c'mon: those were all pretty terrifying Believe him, he'd never been less interested in the whole human culture thing when he found out those things really did exist).

Reaching the clearing, however, the only emotion he even seemed a bit capable of conveying was a bout of exhaustion. He leaned over a bit and, resting his hands on his legs, let out a long huff. When he'd finally caught his breath, he lifted his arms and stretched, just barely catching sight of Skyra up in the sky and that one bunny rabbit girl dangling like a ragdoll. The smile that graced his lips was a wide one at that sight. She sure was an odd one, huh?

Almon had always been best at tactics, if it meant a tactical retreat, which it was at this time. Shifting into a dragon was both destructive and too obvious, so of course he'd gone on foot. Head held high as he entered a clearing that must have been the courtyard, he brushed stray branches and leaves that had gotten caught in his clothing. Despite extreme exhaustion, he couldn't find it in himself to sit and rest, too wired from a) finding Skyra fucking finally and b) just having been chased out by Death. Was that even Death? They didn't exactly see anyone, but they certainly did see the fire.

Now, with both hands nestled in his hair as he attempted to calm his nerves to feel some bit of ache in his muscles, he caught sight of Skyra and her friend, Sabine. They looked to be in a small bout, with it apparent that Skyra was winning. That, or Sabine had rolled the wrong way. It could have been either. A smile tugged at the corners of his mouth at the sight, and he glanced around to be sure that everyone had made it as a form of distracting himself. "Where's Azure?"

Zululu had only really meant to sleep in the comfort of shade that wasn't her dorm room. The four walls felt like they were going to close in around her, and she couldn't exactly have that happening so soon after returning. Of course, her sleep had been interrupted by the arrival of newcomers to the courtyard, and a noisy bunch at that. It sounded like they'd just escaped something and were regrouping. Brows raised, she sat up on the bench to try to get a look at them, eyes scanning the small gathering with the faintest of interest.

message 20: by Drax (new)

Drax RavenKnight (draxhollowknight) Nagrom nodded and slowly set Raylin down, consequently preparing himself for the strike that he knew would be delivered to him. He'd better get it over with, as the prince had other things to attend to other than Raylin. He had to go return to Almon's side, whether he wanted to or not. And trust him, the answer was not. He was focusing on his surroundings, at the moment.

Raylin seemed motion-sick. Perhaps he ought to have warned her to close her eyes. The Gold was still in her true form, for some odd reason, and that girl that he'd threatened with the oaf was in her claw, about to get sick, he could smell. There was a girl watching them, most likely disturbed by their sudden appearance. She could be an enemy, but he doubted it. Almon was there, unfortunately fortunately. His master had survived. It wasn't as if Nagrom had expected him to perish in the first place, though.

The oaf had first looked pale, uncertain, but he regrouped and his exterior calmed. Good for him, Nagrom supposed.

Based upon the information, Nagrom made a mental list of missing items.

One rabbit- Snowy White, belonging to dangling girl.
One school uniform blazer and buttoned shirt- Burned in the fire, belonging to Nagrom.
One Dragon- Platinum, he believed. ((Right?))
One Demon- Name: Sebastian. That confused him due to the fact that his vampire friend, Sebastian Nacar, also attended the Academy.

Was he missing anything?

message 21: by Jasmine (new)

Jasmine (jasminethetallirishflower) It was apparent that her friend was not going to let her down soon, so Sabine decided to take evasive action; she stayed perfectly still until she felt the sickness go away. But it wasn’t just flying sickness anymore; she saw flashes of flames, heard people scream in utter terror, and smelled the strong smell of death. War attacked her senses, making the small banshee want to scream. One bubbled in her throat yet she swallowed it down. She can’t scream now. This wasn’t the time. Her form faded in and out with the struggle. Death was all around them now – people were being killed right-front-and-centre, both from their side and the enemies. Hell; she was pretty sure that cute little bunny was burned to a crisp, along with its family and other woodland friends. Despite the fact that all she wanted to do was cry and wail until it all ended, she kept her mouth shut and her voice silent and her eyes free of tears. If she started screaming now, she wouldn’t be able to stop.

She peered down between the dragon’s talons, watching as the three guys and the blonde girl milled about below. There was no sign of the girl that had held her earlier, nor was there any sign of Sebastian. Where was the demon, anyway? The banshee hadn’t seen high nor hair of him since the fire. Worry tugged at her heart, wondering where her friend could be. “Skyra,” she asked, her voice cracking a bit. Don’t scream. Don’t scream. Don’t scream. “Did you tell Sebastian where we were going or...?”

Kendra (madamejade) | 1693 comments ((There wasn't a fight scheduled, but since Tesir hasn't been conclusively killed, I thought we'd want to get him out of the story somehow.
If you need something to do for awhile, we could assume that Skyra eventually let Sabine down and Fredrick came here to burn the courtyard. He's out destroying the school you know.))
