I cried when Jamie and (Young) Ian were talking about the dead...Murtagh and (Old) Ian. I still miss them...
My favorite quote in part 3 so far is in chapter 61."You mustn't hit him again Grand-pere," Germain said earnestly, breaking the silence. "He's a very good man, and I'm sure he won't take Grannie to bed anymore, now that your home to do it."

I HAD to mark this one, I laughed so hard… hysterical statement!!!!!!
I think that was also my favourite quote in the whole book. I laughed for a long time after reading that one.
Kimberly wrote: "Germain is soooo much like Fergus was when he was young :)"He reminds me of Gavroche in Les Mis;Fergus did too.
I am having a hard time concentrating on this section I want to be back with Bree & Roger. I think if I wasn't listening to this on audio I would go through and read all their parts then go back to Jamie & Claire in yet another war.

When does does this bloody war finally end, and do the various members of the Fraser family have to take part in it till the very end?
Could anybody help me with this: Roger and William B. ended up in the late 1730s, and yes, I've read "A Leaf on the Wind of All Hallows", from where we know that Roger met his father, from MOBY we so far know that his father's ID was found. When Jerry MacK ended in the past, Roger was born yet. What happens to persons crossing their own life-line, however, we know from Drums. Are there any suggestions to this problem?
Brianna made up her mind to return to the past, I assume to meet Claire and Jamie there and hoping to find Roger there as well. As I cannot (and will not!) imagine that they all and up in different decades of the 18th c, I am very much looking forward to reading how this problem will be mastered.

Lotte,Roger isn't crossing his own life line. He's not there already in 1739. If he tried to go back to the 1940s when he was alive that would be a problem. That's what happened to him on his first attempt in DOA.
The one who has a potential problem in when they are now is Buck. He was conceived in 1743 so he is very close to his own lifeline.
