Yeah, it's not exactly a sane book. Tony is pure UGH, but the book is like reading a train wreck. Just try and look away before something happens. Though, for me, once it did, I'd put it down and vent like crazy.

And you simply cannot stop after book 1...because it takes several of the books before most can even consider that Tony might possibly be redeemable...except Ela, who even if there were 100 books and he saved kittens, rescued babies from burning buildings, cured cancer, and made cupcakes a diet food, would still call him a fucktard!!

He isn't redeemable. lol He is a fucktard.

I adore Tony. He is my favoritest alpha asshole EVER. I forgave him and he is redeemed. All you others just don't understand him like Leslie and I do!!! Oh my gosh - that reminds me of a series of books I read. He was like a serial killer, and she was a psychologist/FBI profiler...and he stopped killing when he took up with her, and helps her solve murders. It was really quite strange, but good. Can't for the life of me remember the name or if I'm remembering it quite right.

It is tough to wrap your head around why some of us can love certain controversial characters.

I chalk it up to brilliant authors.

I'm sure we've loved a killer...haven't we?

Of course we have Grey! Off the top of my head, the King series, Hades Hangmen, and all the MC books...... they don't hesitate to kill when they feel it is justified!

Ooooo...and the Anna Zaires Capture Me and Twist Me series. Liberty Series by Leigh James. Apparently I love me some bad bad men!!! And I don't mind if they kill. It is SO time to maybe take a look at that with the help of a paid professional!

Ok, you guys have peaked my interest on whether I think Tony will redeem himself. I'm jumping into book 2 now and putting my challenges for the month on the back burner for now. Wish me luck!
