I did not recognize the title, but when I looked at the description, I realized that I had already read this, a number of years ago. Faulkner is not my favorite author. I find his stream of consciousness style very confusing. But, this one was easy to understand. Still would not include it in my favorite books of all time, but not in my worse books either. I may re read it for this discussion. I will have to see how the month goes.
Am enjoying this as an audiobook, which probably makes it easier to deal with Faulkner's long, complex sentences. Even so, I barely made it through the first chapter -- found it incredibly boring. Am glad I persevered because am now immensely enjoying the adventures of Lucius, Boon, and Ned.
