The Pearl Diver by Jeff Talarigo ?How many years ago did you read this?

About 7 years ago, no a stand alone, i dont remember the cover, sorry, time period umm again, sorry 1900s i believe and location was japan as these refered to the women divers of japan, the amaUmm fiction? I meam its fiction but ser in a real place so

Apart from that as regards the divers themselves think those japanese women who dive for sea snails like its those type of people but im not 100% sure about it being them in this book.
