Managing to keep up this time around. Looking back at my comment last time - think I enjoyed the book more this time round. Read it quickly as we were on holiday so perhaps that helped.

At first I enjoyed this book, but later not so much. I didn't really liked that (view spoiler)[someone confesses of murder, but it is not true. Then someone claims to have seen the murder, but it is also not true (hide spoiler)].

This is one of my favourites, the characters are great, and such a clever plot. I wish Superintendent Battle had been in more books.

I love anything that has Ariadne Oliver in it. Christie's skill with incorporating humor into her murder mysteries in a fluid, non-ghoulish way is very much underestimated. Sometimes they are the highlight of her books for me.

I don't even understand bridge, but I enjoyed this one a lot, probably somewhere around the range of her Top 10-20 novels for me. Very structurally sound, with great characters and humor.

It's one of my favourite books. I love Ariadne Oliver very much. She's such a funny character and it reminds me of Agatha Christie herself. And the rest of the characters are great. I really enjoyed the fact that Hastings wasn't there to do silly things.
