Is anyone interested in reading Hashish: A Smuggler's Tale by Henry de Monfreid? A travel/adventure memoir in translation. It was strongly recommended by one friend to another today and looks like a fascinating read, down a quite different trail than I've ever taken. First published in 1933, with an average rating of 4.06 but only 85 ratings. 224 pages.Pirates. Real 'uns. Any one up for it maybe April or later?

Anyone interested in a December buddy read?I've got The Bishop's Wife on my list but would love to hear other suggestions.
The Bishops Wife was the inspiration for the classic film and has remarkably few (160!) ratings in Goodreads.
