Can't wait. Years ago, before I found the buddy read, I put the fall "In Death" book on my Christmas list. I waited until after Christmas to start reading.

I'm really looking forward to the Sep release of Secrets in Death. And now I just received a notice about the January release of Dark in Death....and I haven't even recovered from the anticipation of Secrets in Death. They could at least wait till Secrets was released before the advertising push comes in for Dark in death. I think I'm just a bit too cynical. Oh well, Sep 5 is just next week and all will be well.

I am right there with you Songbyrd lol....I usually always buy the day they are released but this time I couldn't. I ended one job and started another and my previous job messed up my last pay check and then turned around and told me i had to wait until the 15th to get the rest of my check. Therefore i have to wait another week lol.

Big Rod molested Wylee when he was 12-years old. Larinda Mars was blackmailing him using this info.
Annie's junkie bio mother tried to sell her to another junkie to rape her. Annie knifed him and he, along with Carly were later found dead in that alley. Eve determined his cause of death was not due to the wound she inflicted.
Larinda's fake identity was Angela Terra and the residence in that name contained all of her hoarded items and blackmailing research and records.
Larinda's real name was Lari Jane Mercury from Lawrence, Kansas. Her father is Dr. James Mercury, a pediatrician, and her mother is Marilee Mercury, co-owner of a nursery and landscaping company. Her sister, Clara, is married with two children and owns a 22-acre farm with her husband. (hide spoiler)]
