Someone posted Chris Riddell's illustrations for this work. I feel like it adds a lot to what was a work I largely skipped over.https://dreamexplosively.wordpress.co...
I didn't really like this one too much. Some of the poems in this collection are OK, but some of them are just tedious.
I definitely get the impression that Gaiman writes poetry because he truly enjoys it, not because there's a buying public for it. I've heard a lot of weird preferences about specific authors, including a couple of people tell me their favourite part of Lord of the Rings is the poems, but I've never heard anyone recommend Gaiman on the basis of his poetry.
