July group read - nominate a book set in two different time periods
The Girl You Left BehindNot sure if this will appeal to the masses but its what I plan on reading :)
Pastwatch: The Redemption of Christopher Columbus by Orson Scott Card.I've already read it, but it has stayed with me after 10+ years. Excellent book.
Station Eleven takes place in 2 different times? PERFECT! I will second that one, as I have always meant to read it. --Jen from Quebec :0)
I recommend to everyone: Possession by A.S. Byatt! This is a fantastic book, one of my all-time favorites. I would like to reread it for this monthly challenge.
Man, what is with all this 'Kindred' talk? What do I *not* know about? *searches* --Jen from Quebec :0)
The All-Girl Filling Station's Last Reunion by Fannie Flagg
Another bit of women's history you probably didn't know about set within a modern day story. Humor, family relationships, and unexpected twists as well as the historical story makes this a great beach read for July.
