Besides our beloved heroes, The Super Friends Animated show also featured Wendy, Marvin and Wonder Dog.
Who was Wendy related to, and what was their significance to Bruce Wayne?

message 2: by Jeff (new)

Jeff | 425 comments wasn't she supposed to be like a grand daughter or a niece to Bruce Wayne?

message 3: by Jeff (new)

Jeff | 425 comments They were both more realistic versions of them a few years ago in a Teen titans comics series. Till Marvin was killed by a super Villain.

Travis (travishiltz) | 487 comments Were we ever told Wendy and Marvin's last names?

are you referring to the realistic version where we found out Wonderdog was a hellhound...?

I did like how in the Superfriends comic series they did a story explaining why W+M left and the Wonder Twins joined the team.

message 5: by Jeff (new)

Jeff | 425 comments I think it was during an episode of it but that was sooo long ago.

I am referring to the animated tv show version - not as they appeared in comics. I don't know if they gave the last names on the show, but they are Wendy Harris and Marvin White.

message 7: by Jeff (new)

Jeff | 425 comments yes those were their last names Harris and White. So was I right about her being related to Bruce wayne as a grand daughter or niece?

She is not a relative of Bruce. But she is related to someone who would have been significant to Bruce / Batman.

Did not know this.
Was this mentioned in the cartoon series?

Oh well, just gives me a reason to watch lots of Superfriend episodes.
And I can tell my wife, I have to, it's important research.

message 17: by Jeff (new)

Jeff | 425 comments Well everything I knew about them is spot on with that except the connection to Bruce Wayne.lol

message 18: by Travis (new)

Travis (travishiltz) | 487 comments So,I'll try one.
What historical DC hero has been linked to Superman as a distant ancestor of his adopted parents?

speaking of who's related to who in comics, how come no one has ever done a story linking Lois Lane and the Shadow's girl friend Margo Lane?
