Hi all this is my first time of playing but looking forward to it for this reason I won't be captain but will gladly help if I can.

So apart from Brenn who hasn't checked in yet and Denise who hasn't specified, no one else wants to be captain. I wouldn't mind putting on the captain hat if neither of you two wants to either.

I'd prefer to not be the captain this round, if it's all the same to you. :)

I like them because it forces me to be accountable and actually work toward my annual goal.

That's why I wanted to do it when I saw this challenge I'm already 23 book behind schedule oops

Oh good. I don't feel as bad. I'm 18 books behind schedule.

that was my goal this year two a week just not happening I'm sure I normally read more than this just keep getting distracted.

I set a goal of 60, knowing that the early part of this year was going to be difficult to meet my usual book a week goal. I didn't know that the year was going to be as tough as it has been. I'm starting to catch up a bit, though.

I'm I right that only series with 4 or more books count

Hello everyone. I signed up to be a backup player but got called into the game from the bullpen early to replace the mysterious Brenna.

When I think of 13 I think of Lucky 13 or Spooky 13 (as in Friday the 13th) or Baker's Dozen.

I always have better luck on Fridays 13ths lol when it's time to roll it will be 5am where I am tempted to wake up early just so I know what book to read or just not go to bed and finish Fahrenheit 451

I'm reading Secrets and Lies. #5 in the Rookie K-9 Unit series.

I'm going to have to change mine 20% through reading it and just realised one Its not got enough pages and I really don't like it just one fight/action scene after another

OK, thanks. Don't think I read anything that short.

I didn't check just downloaded it to kindle for a different challenge I don't tend to read small books before I got my kindle but read a few around 198 pages and found them good but because their part of a series, they could have been one long book.

I found another which looks a lot better its called One True Mate 5: Shifter's Rogue 384 pages its also said to be a stand-alone but better if you read the others first. Can't put in link as I'm on the kindle now.

One of the most important parts of being in a team challenge for me is to get to know a little bit about my teammates. How about we each post an introduction. I'll go ahead and get us started.

I am a recently retired respiratory therapist. Now that I am retired I have lots of time to read. My big thing is mystery series so this challenge is great for me. I'm married and live along the Mississippi River in Illinois, USA. I have 2 married children and 3 delightful grandsons.

I mostly listen to audiobooks so I can pursue my other hobby of quilting.

I will look at what i have during my lunch break.

I'm a radiation therapist in California. I read for quiet time. My family knows not to disturb sleep, reading or exercise. I have them trained.

hi I'm 30 currently out of work due to health reason but more time for reading.

I read pretty much anything depending on my mood by my favourite seem to be crime, paranormal and young adult mainly because YA is easier to read for me. I have recently got into dystopia books too.

I'm going with the alternate on this one. Holes was made into a movie.
