What's the best classic you've read recently? What type of person would enjoy it?

Eleazar Aguilera | 7 comments I loved Macbeth. Despite the witches which took away from the story and drama, it was an intense thriller with so much psychological twists and turns. That play is to die for...no pun intended of course!

Emily | 3 comments I recommend The Catcher in the Rye by J.D. Salinger. Originally I read this book because I've heard it's a trigger for people, and was wondering why. But after almost 5 pages I feel in love with the laid back writing style of Salinger. The Catcher in the Rye is about a teenage boy named Holden Cauldfield who is struggling with his place in life, and he can't seem to get a break. Holden speaks in first person retelling his high school years including his many mistakes. Just a warning this book has a heavy amount of language and drinking. But all in all a great book.
