Space Opera Fans discussion

It is more Alien invasion than deep space opera in the first book but it comments deeply on the genre including the soldiers who study works of military sci-fi.

Big fan of this novel.

There's a copy on Amazon Marketplace going for peanuts, and I'm kind of tempted, but on the other hand it'd cost me more in postage than for the actual book...

Decided to split the difference, and asked my local library to get it.

I'm trying to cut down on the number of books/comics/DVDs etc. I buy anyway.
