I remember spending HOURS on checking out every book in Show Us Your Goodies! thread.

OK, I might be - slightly - crazy, but I am also book obsessed. So right now it makes total sense to me =)

I definitely think we should have our own Show Us Your Goodies thread. It's a good way of letting the secret santa know that the book has been received and appreciated.

I was thinking more like adding books to this group's bookshelf in addition to Show Us Your Goodies thread. But now I am thinking about it, they will be listed in the thread on the right side of the page anyway. So never mind :)

We will definitely have that thread. It looks like Heather always added it when it was gifting time.

I can try and keep up with it, if people forget to add the books. Maybe create shelves m/m, f/f, m/f for easier browsing.

Ooo adding it to the bookshelf would definitely make it easier to see what everyone receives.

Are we spending the word individually that this is going on, or is there one person sending out invites.

Spread the word! Anyone can invite. If there are problems inviting, let me know. I think I set it up so anyone can do it.

I posted in LGBTQ Fantasy group yesterday and I will send out a group later on Monday with other announcements.

I have to clean up my wish list!

I was just thinking about that earlier this morning! I don't remember what I have there. Lol

LOL! I found that I had a lot of books on my wishlist that I already bought or was gifted. Completely forgot about them but cleaned it up nicely. And read most of them to, so a win for me!

Can I request that everyone checks their wish list and make sure that they actually have items they want/need listed. I have come across wishlists with no items or only one or two items listed and they have been tagged as already purchased.

I second Nadine's request! I encountered a couple of people with no wishes, too. GC is of course is an option, but where is fun in that?

Time just snuck up on me - I had updated my GR elfster wishlist and forgot to update the Elfster one. I do have a link go my GR w/l on the Elfster page.

I am assuming that everyone's wishlist/bookshelf is up to date on Elfster?

It is hard to say. Some of them are listed as over 6 months ago ( I know mine has some from back then because I still want them), but some lists have been updated in the last week or 2. If you want to specifically verify with the person, you can send them a message in Elfster. It will send anonymously.

It is on the Elfster site where you registered. Elfster does the picks for us so it is all secret. If you need help finding something with Elfster, PM me and I can help you through it. :-)

My giftee got back to me and I was able to send her the gift. We are all set :D

My Birthday month is April but my Anniversary is July 18 :)

I have today off after a crazy work week so I have accepted all of the wonderful goodies that were waiting for me. I also made a guess on who my SS is.
