What can I say about the book? I recently read it was one of the most anticipated books of the Summer of 2017. It is strange and different and I loved the beginning prose in stream of consciousness in Mary's voice. But wait we learn along the way that Mary really isn't Mary. I will try not to give anything more away, but this is not a secret Mary is very ill and her friend Chandra suggest a new agey treatment that is the only thing that works for her, but it is so expensive that she needs a second job and that is the one that leads her down the rabbit hole.
