As most will have gathered, Don Angelo is anything but good. Majority of the spirits have a deep hatred for the man that killed them, though through all their hatred they can never put a finger on what he looks like. If, say for example they glimpse Don Angelo without his knowledge, they will forget instantly what he looks like. If he does catch them on the other hand, he uses all the lives he has absorbed over the decades and years to make them spontaneously combust. This is no lie. So unless the spirit is daring, they usually avoid his presence. They won't even want to say his name out of fear.
When the spirit does die, most of the other spirits in the mansion think they go nowhere. In actual fact though, they are set free of the trap that is the mansion. This comes with a price though. When the spirit dies, they absorb some of Don Angelo's evil and become evil spirits themselves. That and they are uncharacteristically drawn to Littleburrow. Nobody really knows why specifically. Only that it is just something that happens.
