2025 & 2026 Reading Challenge discussion

This thread is to discuss Brandon Sanderson‘s book, The Bands of Mourning.

Suggested break down of reading so that you can check in and let us know how you're doing. The following breakdown is purely a suggestion and is therefore not set in stone.

Rather than putting dates for each section I've done it so that it takes into account that not everybody will necessarily have the book at the same time.

How's everyone going with this? I'm finally caught up and ready to start!

I made a mistake on this one. I thought I bought it when it was cheap on kindle, turns out I didn't and found out a few days ago when I went to start it. Now it's three times the price! I've reserved it at my library instead, though, so should be starting it next week. I'm excited to learn more about Trellism.

I just love this series and its characters! I cannot get enough! Secret History is no longer available in a stand-alone version so I may break down and buy Arcanum Unbounded so that I can read it. (It is one of the stories in that collection.) Can't wait to see what happens in The Lost Metal but will have to wait until it is published in 2018. Part of me can't wait and part of me doesn't want it to end!

Sanderson does a marvelous job of combining humor, science fiction, action, etc. and I plan to read more of his works!

I'm sadly not going to get round to this one this month. Requests at my library usually take about 5 days, this one has been 10 and still no sign of it! I shall be reading it in August. Hope everyone enjoyed it, I've loved this whole series so far.
