There are two mysteries in this story, one concerning the sabotage of Miranda's book tour and the other to locate Eileen's missing child. Which did you find the most interesting and why?

Robin (robinmy) | 1214 comments I definitely liked the mystery of Eileen's missing child better. The book tour sabotage was OK, but I didn't like the whole Mayan apocalypse angle of the story.

I agree, Robin. I wanted more of the child search. I even would have enjoyed the book sabotage more if all that stuff in the Maya ruins had been eliminated. It was too bizarre and didn't add all that much to the mystery. Victor, Jr.'s behavior at the end was just over the top.

Robin (robinmy) | 1214 comments Victor Jr. was crazy. I still wonder how he didn't blow up in the bookstore. He went in but no one saw him leave.

Yeah, that felt like a plot hole.

Charlene (charlenethestickler) | 1392 comments I guess this way she could stretch it to a trilogy.

Jack was at the back of the store, but when he clued that there was a bomb in the backpack he ran back to Miranda and that is when Jr. made his escape out the back before the bomb went off.

Anita (anitanodiva) | 849 comments I like both aspects of the book. The book tour - Mayan mystery is Miranda and Adrian's story. The search for Eileen's daughters will arc over this three book trilogy and I really enjoy how that is playing out.
