There were several surprising twists (Eileen's multiple births, Taliña and Victor, Jr. being married, Wild Eyes being Victor, Jr., etc.). Which surprised you the most or caught you completely off guard?

The whole triplet twist surprised me. I didn't see that coming. I also never thought about Doña Taliña and Victor not being married.

The triplet reveal knocked me flat. Didn't see that coming.

There being a Victor, Jr. was also a big surprise. Never saw a clue to his existence.

I suspected there were twins, but the triplets got me. Then I smacked my forehead and said "Duh" this is the first book of a trilogy.
