So I wasn't really sure where to post this and I know I haven't been on if forever but I wanted to ask something. Do you guys think it would be crazy for me to pursue a writing career? I honestly think I could do it. I'd go to college and taking writing courses, then become a travel journalist or something. Or I could write books, or short stories (which I already do). Not that I'm published or anything. Just I write a lot. But what do you guys think, would it be plausible?
Yeah I am with Arijah here, if it is a passion to do it, go for it. May have to have a day job but once you get published who knows!
Been reading Our Lady of Darkness by Fritz Leiber and am nearly done with it. An interesting book though a little slow at the beginning. Has anybody else read it? Got any thoughts about it if you have?
Working on finishing reading Fiction and Poetry: Complete and Unabridged by Edgar Allan Poe a few stories at a time. Only 700 pages left to go LOL
Also working on The Ultimate Weird Tales Collection - 133 stories - Clark Ashton Smith as well. Alot of weird fiction and other stuff too. It is only close to 1700 pages of stuff, but hey what the heck a few stories at a time.
In between reading a few stories of the above I am trying to also read The Garden of Survival by Algernon Blackwood. Not to sure about it as of yet.
