Regarding another group book read, is anyone interested in attempting one? We haven't gotten far in the past with our group reads, but this book is rather short, only 299 pages, and seems to be interesting, with a plethora of diverse art in the Asia Pacific. I will give the group a week to vote, and feel free to post comments here or on the poll. If we decide to do another group read, I will create a folder dedicated to this book.

Thank you, Carol, for your appreciation and interest in the chosen book. I'm sorry you aren't able to get your hands on a copy. Hopefully there will be enough discussion so you can follow along.

I appreciate all members who have taken the time to vote! It is a fairly close call as of now. I am going to give it a few more days for members to decide and vote.

Most likely we will be reading this book. Even if Deborah and I are the only ones to read it, it would be a 'group' book read on which we can discuss! But so far, we have several more members who have expressed an interest.

I will keep you updated through the next few days. If you haven't voted yet, please feel free to add your two cents. Even if you choose 'no', any vote is appreciated. Of course, it is at your disgression.

As the majority of the votes (by a small margin) was for starting another book read, I will create that folder now.

Those who have opted to participate in reading the chosen book, I will give you time now to acquire that book. I need to find it myself.

This group read will be a bit different than those of the past. I won't structure a time limit to how many pages to read per month or give a deadline to when you need to finish the book.

Instead I will open up the Folder and as members acquire the book, you may begin posting your thoughts. Please be careful of spoilers for those of us who haven't arrived at your page in the book. But your comments are more than welcome!

So as of today I will 'begin' the group book read!
