I'm still slogging through this - and enjoying it! The interactions between Raskolnikov and Porfiry (sp?) are gripping and fascinating in their psychological interaction. I'm a little confused with Sonia being accused of stealing money - but waiting to see what happens.

I am in part IV now as well - I think I may not be quite as far as you. Right now Porfiry just got the boot!

Porfiry is my favorite part of the whole book.

Finished (yesterday)! Finally! Great book but boy did that last part almost kill me to finish.

I particularly loved the chapters with Svidrigajlov - almost rape of Dunia, interactions with Raskolnikov, dreams/hallucinations and eventual suicide - compelling stuff
