Magnus Muldoon and a glove slap. That was a fun way to start off! :)

It reminded me of a Simpson's episode where he runs around slapping everyone with his gloves.

I remember seeing a show where a guy gets slapped with a glove. He slaps the guy who hit him back with a glove and knocks him out, then pours the quarters he filled the glove with on the floor. ;)

You really have to read the earlier installments first, Katy.

It can be, but it would be best to read it in order. Otherwise you will miss a lot of the references.

I was happy that Magnus was able to get out of that quicksand. I have to admit that I was laughing when that guy got bit by that snake! (hide spoiler)]

I finished! In fact, I thought it was going to end way before it actually did. No way did I see that ending coming at all. I liked that a lot! (view spoiler)[ In a way, though, I'm disappointed and I'm not sure why. I do feel like this installment ended in a cliffhanger and I am not fond of that. Also, the amnesia thing? I don't know, I think I'm finding it a little soap opera-like? I didn't mention those 2 specific things in my review because I feel they are too spoiler-y. Anyway, there is something else that's bothering me and I'm not sure what. (hide spoiler)] I can't wait until you finish and then we can talk about it. :)

hey guys i just finished it also.
I was disappointed with this as well as #4 and cant really put my finger on it. Feel like they were not as "cerebral" as i would like and have become more "action" oriented. The fight scenes seem to go on forever. Like you both I am not happy about the amnesia or the cliffhanger ending.
