Half Bad discussion

Hey guys!
I just finished reading Half Bad, Half Lost, and Half Wild. The ending killed me, but now I'm having a hard time finding something new to read.
I want something kind of like the Half Bad trilogy..(Having gay characters is a bonus!)

I know what you mean, I was so close to tears - but I couldn't imagine a better ending for the story. So amazing.

Holly Black's The Darkest Part of The Forest has gay characters! Also gay characters in her series Modern Faerie Tales - though you kind of have to read all three of them to get there. I'd recommend Libba Bray's books as well, the Gemma Doyle series, it was a while since I read it and it doesn't have gay characters but I remember thinking the story buildup was great and the ending has a similar kind of poetic twist to it as the Half Bad trilogy.
