I enjoyed it. It wasn't mind-blowing or anything, but was fun. Really reminded my of Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust.
I loved it but then I analyzed it to hell and thought of all the ways it could've been better but recognize happened because of production issues. Hoping season 2 really goes to town.

Binge watched Season 1. I follow the show's writer, Warren Ellis, who writes mostly comics. I was a bit taken aback by the goofy lead character. It wasn't mind blowing and it felt too short for a full season, but I guess I'll be watching season 2 when it comes out...

For anyone curious, the first season was originally going to be a 90 minute movie, hence the pacing and shortness.
I cannot wait. AND the date serves double duty for me. I'm doing a bookstore appearance and an AMA on r/Fantasy on Halloween. Which means I'll get to talk Castlevania for it. :D
wow, just watched season 2 a few weeks back. I really enjoyed season 2, except for the la-la land everyone loves everyone ending.
Season 3 is a slow burn until episode 8 when it goes into high gear. Wild Sword and Sorcery fights juxtaposed with undead eroticism.
