Going For a Beer: Selected Short Fictions

Been waiting for this for a few years now. I assume this is what became of what had been planned as In Bed One Night, and Other Brief Encounters from Dzanc. I further assume it'll include the recent stuff from The New Yorker and a few of those oop collections like In Bed One Night. New stuff? dunno.

Please, let it be so - and not "postponed" or removed from Amazon!

P.S. - to be released on my birthday next year; great birthday present to myself!

My Kindle edition was delivered right on schedule.

But, dang - it's surprising how many of the New Yorker stories are not included in this collection. :( As a matter of fact, if you own most of Coover's story collection, you've pretty much got this book.

I'm disappointed, sorry to say.

I had suspected it'd be a Best Of collection ; but I still had this irrational hope it'd be a little more thorough than it is. Looks like a big publishing opportunity is lost with this one.
