One thing I love about Coben is that he tends to start his books with a but of seemingly unrelated story lines that he slowly brings together throughout the book. When I first see them, though, I am baffled as to how he is going to bring them together.
Yes, he is the master at that. I always try to figure it out and I am usually the last to know. At which point I am like Ooooooh...

I cannot remember which one it was, but I know there was one where the last paragraph in the book completely changed the story and its outcome . . . actually, that may have happened more than once . . .
