My overall thoughts of the book: I liked it. This was my first Emery Lord book and I liked her writing. Vivi did get on my nerves sometimes, but as more about her bipolar disorder got revealed I understood that the things that annoyed me were part of her mental illness. Jonah is a sweet little cinnamon roll and I love him. I loved the setting, and I loved that it was so much about family.
