Lyn nodded, "Anytime," she still refused to look at him. She felt like June had made her look weak, even behind bars.
Kane doesn't meet her gaze either- he feels like his connection to June only makes him look like more of a traitor to both sides. He couldn't figure out his feelings.
"Why did she..." Lyn refused to finish, "Why didn't you..." She clenched her jaw and kicked a rock angrily.
Kane looks at her,"I haven't seen her in a really long time and we were never...romantically involved I have no idea why she kissed me and I didn't kiss her back." he says crossing his arms.
Lyn paced for a few minutes, then realization struck, "She knew I was jealous, so she's obviously been jealous before."
((If you don't like where this is going then stop me! I was actually thinking that June would be just as surprised by what she did.))

((nope! Go wherever you want I'll play along!))He sort of ignores her and lifts the bucket out of the well.
She stopped pacing, looking at his back, "I'm sure she didn't seem jealous," Lyn took a step foreword, "I'm sure she didn't look that way."
"No, Kane. She's trying to get into yours... If you had seen that she was jealous of whomever else... You would have seen it, I know... and If you had seen it..." Lyn stopped, not wanting to continue.
Kane frowns and massages his head, "I-I'm really confused right now. I thought this would be easier."
Lyn took one step closer, "If you had seen her jealousy... you wouldn't have left alone." She winced as the words left her mouth.
"I want you to tell me the truth. Did you feel anything? Anything at all, when she kissed you?", Lyn asked him quietly.
Lyn shook her head, "Not for her. She didn't turn around because she saw me, smelled me, or heard me. She was playing with you, Kane. She was testing you to see if you would come after her."
"I think so. She's the only one who could tell you for sure. That's what I would have done too." Lyn said, sounding defeated.
"I know, I don't doubt you," Lyn told him, "Just don't lie to me, or yourself. It will only make things worse, Kane."
"I'm not." he frowns, "I'm just a little confused okay!?" he says clenching his fists and sighs deeply.
Lyn put her hand gently on his cheek, looking into his eyes, "Its going to be alright, I promise," She promised, brushing her lips against his, then pulling back, "I promise," She repeated.
He pulls her into a tight hug feeling like he was a kid again- cast out from his home and friends. neither side trusted him.
Lyn hugged him back, closing her eyes, "I'm right here for you," she whispered, "No matter what happens."
Lyn nodded, pushing closer, reaching around him for the bucket of water, careful not to let him see. She held his gaze with her own. She smiled mischievously.
Lyn carefully grabbed the bucket, bringing it up till it was over his head, "Nothing..." She slowly tipped the bucket and let half the water fall on his head. Lyn laughed.
Lyn laughed, racing around the well, dripping wet, "Gotcha!," She shouted.
((I've gtg. RP with you later! :D ))
((I've gtg. RP with you later! :D ))
((I'm going to be on and off today, I'll reply when I can. :) ))
Lyn smiles, laughing as she runs around the well, keeping it between them.

Lyn links her hands behind his neck, "Its nice to see you relax for a while. Even if you're head is soaked."
Lyn smiled slyly, "All my fault... but then you poured the rest on my head, so that makes us even."
