Elizabeth and Bookbuyer have moderator titles now...I just can't think of a good one for myself, haha. Do you want one, Jackie?

C.P. wrote: "That's true. I'll probably just change it every time I come up with a new one I like. :D"Sounds good! ^-^
If no one else signs up for the August page count challenge is anyone interested in joining a team to round them out?
If I need to I can be added. With my new job I'm not sure how much I can get read, but I'm sure I will fit in a couple at least.

I think challenges, but I can also help with anything else. I can do whatever Lizzy was in charge of until she comes back.
Hey guys sorry I've been away I'm currently on holiday but I'll be back on the 31st of July just in time for when the next challenge starts so I'll be ready to help with points and I'm gonna try and think of a few ideas for a September challenge, unless anyone's got any already?
I was thinking we could do a challenge centered around Halloween for October—maybe a bingo challenge.
Who's in charge of the monthly email thing? We are still missing some people from the teams so I think we should send the email soon. :)
I can send out a message to the group. I will do that once I tally scores for the July challenge. Is there anything else we need in the message?
C.P. wrote: "I can send out a message to the group. I will do that once I tally scores for the July challenge. Is there anything else we need in the message?"I don't think so. As long as we say that the August challenge has started I think we'll get the last few stragglers. :)
If not I'll message them on Thursday.
The good news is that even with the missing members all the teams are even. ^-^
C.P. wrote: "That is good! Alright, I'll get the message sent out. :)"Yup. I've been very lucky today. I think the universe is making up for my panic earlier when Goodreads was down. ^-^
Jackie wrote: "I'm coming up with a guide dog challenge centred around my experience getting a guide dog."Oooh. That sounds really interesting! I'm looking forward to seeing it. ^-^
I seem to have missed several discussions. I don't know how since I check the unread posts every day. :/

I've noticed GR has been weird lately and is showing read threads as unread or not showing unread threads.
Jackie wrote: "I've noticed GR has been weird lately and is showing read threads as unread or not showing unread threads."I noticed that today as well. It's been really annoying. At least it still shows the accurate time of the last comment. :/
C.P. wrote: "Yeah, like this thread is showing all of the comments as new. So annoying."I agree. It makes it very difficult to see new comments. :(
Yeah it is. I'll also get a thread I've read that has 29 commens as showing "[thread name] - 29 comments, 24 unread" when I know I've read them all. Ugh. Hope it gets sorted. At least notifications are still working though.

I can understand considering how many people are on here but I was close to a panic attack this morning when I couldn't get on. :(
I'm glad more and more people are joining the site. :) All things considered, glitches could be worse.
Jackie wrote: "I'm glad more and more people are joining the site. :) All things considered, glitches could be worse."True. :)
I've sent Jackie a message to add that you can use the highest page count you can find (except for iphone) editions as people don't seem to know this and are losing out on a lot of points. I think we should add it to the review threads from now on. :)That will also save us some time and effort since we won't have to remind/tell people and find the highest page count for them. ^-^
Now that I think about it I don't think it's ever mentioned in the team thread sign ups either. I don't think we need to write it twice but I was just thinking about it. :/
So I've gone through everyone's review threads and updated the already posted books with the highest page count. Thankfully at least half already knew and I didn't have to do much and thankfully there weren't many reviews yet. ^-^
If Jackie isn't able to do them I should be able to this afternoon. I haven't heard anything from Lizzie since her last comment here.
C.P. wrote: "If Jackie isn't able to do them I should be able to this afternoon. I haven't heard anything from Lizzie since her last comment here."KK. Thanks. I was just noticing that the scores weren't being done daily and I was wondering if there was an issue or some kind of miscommunication. :)
Sorry guys been practicing for my car theory. If someone could explain the point system for me I'd be able to update scores. I'm just struggling with the maths part. Sorry 😐

As far as I can understand everything is pretty straight forward until here*Five points for every 1000 pages read.
*One point for a buddy read of a book 100-499 pages in length.
*Two points for a buddy read of a book 500+ pages in length.
*Two points for reading and participating in the group book of the month discussion.
*One point for each bonus category completed.
The thousand pages somehow needs dividing but I don't know by what.
