So, the rundown for today: tell Sebastian to clean his place, go to his client's husband' workplace to find where he would be going this evening, buy few bottle of vodka for Sebastian, work.

But first, Osten had a date.

This whole private eye business had been pretty hectic these past couple weeks and completely confiscate his time for the actual life. Four clients, paid in advance, couldn't help but juggle with multi-tasking (Thanks Sebs, for agreeing on his behalf, now Osten had no choice but to do the job). Thankfully, he managed to find a little time. Maybe they couldn't have actual proper date or whatever, but just to see each other face to face for five minutes would be the next best thing.

Shoving his notebook back to the inner pocket on his jacket, he waited for Adrienne.

Adrienne or Addie as she was known affectionately by most was running late. Her rehearsal had let out late and getting across London had been an annoyance she could have done without. Stupid tube system. She just hoped she looked okay and wasn't too windswept as she hurried across the street to meet her boyfriend hoping he hadn't been there long. Oh why had she decided to leave her hair down rather than putting it up? Okay positive thoughts:her make-up was fine and it wasn't raining.

She saw him standing on the pavement a little bit ahead of her and walked over to greet him. "I'm not too late am I?" she asked as she kissed him on the cheek in greeting.

She was glad to see him as it while rehearsal was fun, it had been long and tiring especially for her, what with the recent news from the doctor and all. She wondered if she should tell him today or leave it a while longer. She didn't want to hurt him and she had a feeling this news would.

"Nope, I just got here myself."

Adrienne, as he always remembered, looked radiant with her infatuating smile. Even when her face turned pink because she just ran and be casual about it - he knew, he wasn't the only one with tight schedule.

Osten wrapped his arm around her shoulder, gently pulling her closer and kiss the top of her head. Not to be a creeper or anything but little did Adrienne know about how Osten's senses worked nine times better (because he was a werewolf, do not tell). He could hear her heartbeat blocks away before she arrived, and he knew her smell (unexplainable smells for the mundies like us, it's a werewolf thing) - all mixed with the trace of smells from theatre-standard crips and London Underground.

And sickeningly sweet medical smell.

"How's the rehearsal? I didn't snatch you from anything, right? No understudy is gonna replace you permanently?" he joked. It's funny how different their worlds were; Adrienne lived in living colors of grand stage and spotlight, while Osten lurking in the dark seeking for dirts (and occasionally turn into a supernatural beast but again, do not tell).

Adrienne enjoyed being pulled closer and the feel of his arms around her body. For how much longer would she be able to do this? How long before she was confined to a hospital bed? But she forgot about that for the moment, she was here and she was alive, she could walk and wasn't in much pain. All of which were good things. She mustn't forget that. Despite everything seemingly being bad there was still good things about her life even if they were simply things such as not being confined to a hospital bed or the weather being nice.

"That's good, I wouldn't have wanted you to have been waiting ages for me," she said relived. She hated the thought of him having to wait for her. "Rehersal was good, long and tiring but it went well. And of course not. I'm better than any understudy" she said playfully, laughing lightly. But in the back of her mind she couldn't help wondering how long it would be before someone else took her part, her life. Okay nope not going there, she thought shaking her head a little to get rid of the pessimistic thoughts. She was going to stay positive through this if it was the last thing she did and who knows they may come up with some kind of cure.

She was hiding something.

Osten could sense it (do not tell, animal instinct) from her. He could, you know, ask - but what would he say? How did a regular human being even figure what was behind her perfect demeanor? How could he ask her about secret when Osten himself had loads of secrets he kept away from her?

Still, living on the other edge of that tightrope knowing full well something was odd and couldn't talk about it - that sucked.

All he could've done was smiling as she spoke. Put up a good show. At least he knew his feeling was genuine - but what was good of a lover if he couldn't do more just standing there, with his private burden, not knowing how to reach out for the other half of him?

If only it was as easy as to extend his hands to her.

"So, what do you want to do know?" He asked, followed by a playful grin. "Before some theater guy snatched their favorite girl away from me again?"

She laughed. "You know he's gay right?" she said with grin. Her fellow co-star was attractive that much was true but he was gay and very happy with a boyfriend in the chorus. Not that she would be with him if he was straight, she loved her boyfriend through she was well aware he was playing and wasn't actually being serious.

"So where are we going?" she asked. He had asked her on a date but hadn't actually told her what he had planned and she was eager to find out. She did know however that she had to sit down and actually have a conversation with him. She couldn't keep the fact she was dying from him forever. He was bound to find out eventually and she rather Osten heard it from her rather than from anyone else. And she knew she had to do it soon before she got too ill.

"So I have something to tell you," she said before she lost her nerve.
