I've read 'The Libriomancer' by Jim C. Hines - the review is on my profile, but overall it was too messy for a first book. The idea is totally there; a librarian who can reach into books and use them for good or evil. Sounds amazing? I thought so too, but things got confusing really quick.
I also read the 'Lockwood and Co.' series this summer by Jonathan Stroud and although it's shelved in our Junior section, it was just as scary and beautifully written as any adult novel. I highly, highly recommend this series to any supernatural mystery fans!
What have you been reading recently for our Summer Reading program? Have you taken on any challenges this year?
