Good to know. Ive read a few and I havent read anything better than Mirror. Im excited if this is his best work! Good play on words Terry! LOL
I've stopped at ch3 though I may read one more chapter. This book makes me feel as if I'd like to explore an old Victorian home and wonder what secrets lay between its walls.

I just found out that this book is tribute to HP Lovecraft's story called The Dreams in The Witch House, which is right before ch1 in a quote.

Awesome - I'm looking forward to it!

I also thoroughly enjoyed chapter 1.
I made it up to ch6. So, is it not obvious this one is written by a guy after ch5, lol. (view spoiler)
Lol....totally. And on the first night!? They couldnt wait a few days....lol. Cracks me up, but you are totally right! And this rat thing isnt really a rat...its Brown Jenkin. You should totally giggle that one and see if youll ever look at rats the same again! I dont understand how anyone could stay at that house. I would literally make everyone sleep in the same room.

I guess they made a movie of Lovecrafts story In The Dreams of the Witch House and the trailer is pretty freaky. They did a good job on the rat. Do yo have any of Lovecrafts stories or have you read any of his stuff?
Wow, that trailer was creepy! I pictured the rat being bigger than that, did you? The face did look real though. I don't have any of Lovecraft's stuff, and haven't read any. Have you?
Yes. I thought it would be bigger too but the thought of a rat with a face just freaks me out! I do have a collection of his stories on my kindle but I don't remember if I've read any of them. I think I tried reading The Mountains of Madness but couldn't get into it.
Addy wrote: "And what is it with that name Miller?...must be a cop name....lol."Yes, I noticed that too, lol. Man, can you imagine what that ratcatcher would have looked like? Is it really possible for that to happen? I can't imagine!
God, I would hope not but I guess anything is possible. What a horrible way to go. Wasn't expecting that so early in the book.

I stopped for now but you can go on if you want. I have to do some packing before I go to bed...boring. I hate packing.

Graham Masterton played with this idea in Doorkeepers and Mirrors. I think he's fascinated with multi-verses.
