Harry Potter Fanatics - Ontario discussion

Let us all join together today to commemorate that one year ago, we knew nothing about the story-line of Cursed Child. All truly was well. Albus was not hated by his father. He was not a Slytherin. He was a noble character ready to define himself by his choice. He wanted to honour his parents. Voldemort was not a father. The words "Voldemort Day" had never been uttered. Ron was a layered character; funny yet so much more than comic relief. Time turners only worked one way. And they had all been destroyed. Polyjuice Potion took a month to brew. Albus did *not* want to make a baby with his aunt. Harry respected McGonagall. The trolley witch was kindly and sweet. And the dead stayed dead.

A veil has fallen over the words "All was well." They will never be forgotten.

Happy Birthday Neville Longbottom, today. I am so grateful that sweet Cedric's murdering you was undone. Eventually.

Oh boy... another year.... Time really does not heal all wounds.

It's amazing that until reading this post, I never realized that today marks five years since Cursed Child was released. I'm glad my brain is able to "blot" that detail from memory.
