((okay, here goes))

He took Love down a path he usually took alone. Although he was still carrying a sweating jug of juice, he was very diligent to not let brambles or thin branches whip past him and into Love's face. The underbrush wasn't that bad, but it could have been better and, admittedly, he had never been so conscious of the knotted grasses before he was leading a girl through it. He had spent so much unwanted time here, it felt as if he was showing Love a piece of himself instead of just a really very crappy fort he had constructed.

He glanced back at her and grinned as they moved into a larger area almost entirely free of thistles or underbrush. Up in the oak was his elevated shed, looking like a patchwork quilt of wood and ladders.
"Here," he said, voice coming out just a little quieter than he had expected. "Welcome to fort Britain in all it's glory."

The journey from Walmart to the treehouse was like an adventure to Love. They were on a quest to see his treehouse, going through thorny brambles to find that little kingdom. And today's story starts at Wal-Mart to the Elf Tree.((I maybe referenced to Ben and Holly's Little Kingdom  here...))
Love smiled like a child all the way here. Going through thorny brambles after a clear path.
Until they reached a tree with what would seem like a broken fence on it to people. But Love just knew it was the treehouse and she loved it.
She clapped her hands twice in some childish glee before tugging Britain in further.
"So this is your treehouse!" she exclaimed excitedly.
Until her eyebrows furrowed in confusion.
"...How do we get up?" she asked, big eyes looking up at him. At her most childish moments she really fid look like a child.
"If it's Fort Britain, I'm playing Princess."

((Sorry for very late reply. Stuck up in my own little mind XD))

Britain felt a small, if flickering, smile cross his face as Loved tugged him further with girlish strength. Not always to be reckoned with, but playful in the most awesome way.
"You... You can be princess if you want," came the still quiet flustered response as he walked them just a little further through the knotted grass, cracking with leftover from the wet months of the year when the area wasn't much more than a swamp. Glancing down where the finger-like roots burrowed into the earth, Brit gave the wood a little, maybe affectionate, kick. It took a moment for her question to make its way into his head. "Oh," to him, there had never been a question of how to get up, as he had his own unique means, but as he 'uhmed', glancing up into the knarled branched above them; he shrugged. "I just, kinda... climb..." Obviously within that solution may lay some dilemma. The tree, to put it mildly, was't bred for it's climbing quality. "You know..." He reached out and made a little walking motion with his middle and index finger; moving up along the trunk and up into the branches to illustrate... if unnecissarily.

((And no problem. You're talking to the right person as far as understanding is considered. :P ))

((Sorry for the long wait again!!!))

Love side glanced at him then chuckled.
"Yeah, well I already decided to be princess."
Now she had pulled them to the foot of the tree, looking up.
"That's how you get up. How do I get up?" she asked exaggeratedly, ponytail swinging from side to side as she spoke, almost acting out her sentence.
Then she got an idea.
Slowly she placed one foot in a crook of imperfection on the tree and grabbed a small branch above to pull herself up. She was trying to climb it.
She grabbed everything on the tree she could and climbed.
"Don't worry! I got this!" She shouted down.
Though little did she know, she was only a few inches off the ground. It was quite a comical sight to see her struggles.
