Blue Lake Academy discussion

A pool party to celebrate this summer is being thrown at the BLA outdoor pool. It's the evening and the pool is lit up with beautiful decorations.

~Food~ Different types of punch and juice as well as water are available by the gallon on a table off to the side, which also has some of the last good batches of summer fruit including watermelon, peaches, strawberries, and other berries. Cupcakes with summer-related plastic rings in the top are also available.

~Decoration~ Lanterns are hunt on strings interlaced with streamers around the pool, giving it a bright feeling. The pool is lit up as well, with a few random float toys like lounges floating on it. Picnic blankets are spread on the grass a few feet from the pool.

Don't forget to RSVP for the dance and put the name of the character you are roleplaying with in parenthesis to avoid confusion. Example:

Bob looked around for Sarah at the dance anxiously.

((Noah))

Merlin walked in rubbing her arm. Only when she left the room had she realised she asked him on a date. She was excited no doubt, but was still wondering what he thought. Seeing him walk up, Merlin didn't havr to pretend to be happy. She was when she saw him. He looked really good!

((Merlin))

Noah was standing by the food table waiting for Merlin. Merlin said in her message to meet her here. He looked towards the door one more time and saw her walking in. She looked stunning.

"Hey! So, whats up stranger." Merlin she walking over to him. She was tempted to hold his hand, but he probably only thought of her as a friend.

"Stranger danger," Noah replied in a childish voice while holding both of his hands up and taking a step back.

"Whoa now, I just came to hang out with a cute guy." Merlin chuckled stepping back. The minite it came out of her mouth, Merlin regret it. Great now, he'd really think she was weird!

"Oh.. so you think I'm cute," Noah said.

"Uh, I mean, well... I guess." Her mumbled, she could feel her entire face heat up. Thankfully, the blush wasn't there.

"Well you're cute to."

Noah looked around. There weren't many people there yet but then again the party hadn't started that long ago.

"Oh.. so you think I'm cute?" She asked teasing him. (Hey, I gtg I'll be back tho)

"Who said that," Noah replied as he looked left then right. (Ok.)

Rolling her eyes, she turned around and started to eat some watermelon behind her. Merlin was satisfied. After awhile, she patted Noah on the arm. "Watch this." She said smirking then diving into the pool with a little flip.

Noah walked towards the pool.

"Nice."

"So, I mean I'm not going to takeit up for extra curricular, but I mean... would you be willing to teach me baseball?" Merlin asked swimming around as more of her friens and more football players came in.

"I mean softball is more my thing but sure," Noah replied while watching Merlin swim.

"Really? I would love that!" Merlin exclaimed flinging a bit of water on him. Rasing an eyebrow bashfully, she looked at Noah. "Oops." She giggled teasingly.

"It's okay," Noah replied as he sat on the edge of the pool with part of his legs in the water. He started kicking and it caused a bunch of water to splash Merlin.

"Hey, thats not fair! You need to be wet as well." Merlin smirked and pulled him in along with her. She was strong but it wasn't that surprising, she played four sports here.

Noah quickly gasp for air, not expecting what happened. He decided to stay under the water longer to see if he could fool Merlin into thinking that he had drowned. He was very good at holding his breath for long periods of time.

Laughing, she was surprised at how quickly his reaction changed. So Merlin waited for him to come up. . . And waited, and waited. He didn't come up. Diving down Merlin grabbed both of his arms, and swam to the top. "Oh my God! I'm so sorry! I'll never do it again please don't die!" She could feel her entire face redden with anger, this couldn't be her fault, she wouldn't cry, not when there was someone dying. Merlin couldn't be selfish. He had to be alive!

Noah made sure he was completely still while also looking as lifeless as possible.

Looking at him, Merlin couldn't help herself. Letting a few tears slide down her face, Merlin felt for a pulse. Thank God! He was still alive! His breathing was okay, but Merlin was so confused. Maybe he had some water stuck in his throat... setting him on the steps Merlin closed his nose and did mouth-to-mouth CPR.

Noah opened his eyes and pretended that he was getting needed air back into his lungs.

When he opened his eyes, Merlin was crying tears of joy! Strangely, none of the people around them seemed to notice. Well, a few did but none of them did anything. Thats when Merlin realised it... he'd been faking. The. Whole. Time. "Noah! You, jerk! That was my first kiss, and thats how I spend it! On a prank!" Merlin was livid.

Noah sat up so that he was facing Merlin. He realized how important the moment was for her.

"I didn't realize you were going to do that," Noah replied feeling guilty, "if it makes you feel any better it was mine too."

Blushing, Merlin looked down. Great, she'd made it all about herself he'd never like her now. When he said it was his first, Merlin turned tbe color of a tomato. "Yeah, well... it was really nice. Your a good kisser." She mumbled turning away.

"Thanks, I guess?"

Noah wasn't really sure how to respond to that. He quickly realized that people were starting to stare. He quickly got up and offered Merlin a hand.

((Arthur))

Sienna walked in and contemplated the pool, she had a two-piece swimsuit under her dress. She started to consider to enter the pool, but that would have to wait, first, she had to look for Arthur.

Walking over to Sienna, Arthur waved over to her. "Hey!"

((Arthur))

"Hello!" Sienna answered with a smile. She took off her sunglasses and walked over to Arthur.

((Sienna))

Giving a bright smile, she shoved his hands in his pockets and smiled again. "So, whats up?"

((Arthur))

"Not much," she answered. "I'm glad you are here."

Sienna looked around.

"I... kind-of thought that you weren't a party guy," she playfully added with a smirk.

(( Sienna))

Chuckling, he took one hand out and ran it through his styled hair. "Ah, my sister recommend I come. She's the party twin not me. I'm more of a... what do others call it -- ah yes a stay at home loser. -- I prefer the term, Reserved." He laughed.

((Arthur))

"Clever," Sienna stated. "...and you never mentioned to me you had a TWIN sister, eh?"

For some reason, her mouth fixed in a smile when she was with Arthur. She didn't understood why.

((Sienna))

"Ah yes, a blessing and a curse. I'm glad to have her as my sister, but others always seem to compare us whenever were together. I do enjoy her company, she's kind." Arthur explained, he didn't know why. Mostly he was so well, reserved. Though Sienna seemed to make him laugh.

((Arthur))

"I sure think so," Sienna said. "Is she here today? What's her name?" She asked with genuine curiosity, while trying to picture how would Arthur look if he was a girl.

"I bet that having a twin sister is rather interesting," she added as she started to walk headed towards the snack table slowly, so that Arthur would walk besides her.

Fast walking up to her, he shoved his hands back in his pockets. "Ah yes, her name is Merlin. Our parents were big fans of Legends. Also I think they took advantage of having the last name King." Arthur chukled and leaned against the table.

"Um, it definitely can be. We don't look exactly the same. Still, we're pretty similar. It's kind of cool having a twin, we do argue but, it's cool kind of knowing someone always has you're back." Arthur chuckled and shook his head. "Sorry I probably sound idiotic."

((Arthur))

"Idiotic? Not at all!" Sienna said quickly. "Arthur, it sounds to me that you have very creative family!"

"And that makes me envy you," she added as she approached him closer as they walked and softly patted him in the back.

"Why don't you show me who is she from here?"

Giving her a small smile, he turned to look a her. "Why thank you Sienna. You're a very strong individual, did you know that?" Arthur smirked then turned to look at Merlin hanging out with a group of friends.

Waving over, Merlin jogged over and smiled. "Hey! Who's this? I didn't know you talked to other girls beside me!" Arthur groaned while Merlin laughed then they shook their heads in unison. Their personalities were polar opposites, but just by looking at their faces you could tell they were twins. Related at least.

((Arthur))

Sienna covered her mouth with one hand as she chuckled. When she finished, she extended her other hand towards Merlin with a warm smile.

"Sienna Cross," she said. Her face had slightly turned pink from the laugh and the compliment she received from Arthur. Thankfully, the shade provided by her hat made in almost unnoticeable.

"Wait. I think I know you," she added. "Yes! You are on the basketball team too, aren't you? How couldn't I made the connection earlier!?"

((Sienna))
Shaking her hand, she smiled. "Well nice to meet you Sienna!" Merlin chuckled. "Wait... Sienna!? Oh my goodness! You're on the basketball team as well! How could've I not noticed that!? Maybe we just don't look the same drenched in sweat." She chuckled

((Arthur))

"Yes! Tell me about it! This season it's gonna be ours!" Sienna answered.

"And thank you for convincing your brother to come today to the party," she added "I was starting to worry about being here all alone."

She contemplated the twins, how they looked so much alike and how different they were, yet both were truly nice to her. She felt a positive sense of jealousy.

Merlin raised her eyebrows... she never did.. "Oh no problem! He really does need to get out more!" Giving her brother a teasing smile, she walked off. He had another friend other than her!

"So, anythinf you'd like to do? Otherwise I'll stand here and just eat. Something I found I'm very good at." Arthur said taking a peice of watermelon.

((Arthur))

Sienna waved a goodbye as Merlin walked away.

"No. Let's do just that for a bit longer," she said as she took a piece of watermelon herself and ate it.

"You've got a swimsuit?" She asked.

Nodding, he grabbed a juice and a big peice of water melon making sure to move as other people came by.

"Oh, yes. In my bag, I wasn't really planning on going but if you want we could." Arthur said giving a smile.

((Arthur))

Sienna shrugged, "Yeah, sure I guess. It's nice day, perfect for swimming," she said as she grabbed a juice from the table and looked for a chair -or a spot- where to leave her stuff.

((Sienna))
Nodding, he quickly changed and set his stuff with Merlins, in a reclined chair by the pool. He slowly stepped, letting his shirt get wet and dolphin sawm to the edge of the pool.

((Arthur))

Sienna rose an eyebrow. She took off her sandals, hat, and sunglasses and left them on another reclined chair next to Arthur's. She had a bit of difficulty lowering the zipper of her dress, but soon managed to take it off, revealing the swimsuit underneath. The sat at the edge of the pool before entering.

It was indeed a nice day to go for a swim.

"You seem like a fish in the water," Sienna said to Arthur amused by the way he swam, although she wasn't sure he heard her, she was on the other side of the pool.

He couldn't help but blush slightly as he looked at Sienna, then turned away. Gosh, that was slightly uncomfortable. He'd only watched over his sister to make sure she was okay. But they shared a face! It was like watching an opposite him!

"Ah thank you! I do enjoy swimming, I think if alot of ideas here." It was true, it made him explore a while new world.

((Arthur))

"I wonder what type of ideas," Sienna said as she left herself float backstroke ((I'm not sure if that's the term, sorry)).

"Ideas about your books? You never told me what you wrote about!" She added and closed her eyes as she floated.
