I didn't get to see it this weekend. I'm not sure when I'll; get to but I love the conjuring 1 and I liked Annabelle more than I thought I would. so no stone throwing from me Ken.
I saw it a few days ago, and I enjoyed it. Good acting and cinematography. The only thing I wasn't a fan of was when the film had scare chords that would grow louder, go silent, and then a jumpscare happened. It made some sequences predictable, at least for me. But overall, it was fun and atmospheric.
I just got back from seeing it, and I must say I was impressed. I wasn't expecting much after the first one (I did enjoy it, but it felt very sub par overall). I don't know how much rewatchable it would be for me though since there were a few moments I couldn't help but roll my eyes at, and overall it felt like it ran a bit too long for me.
I enjoyed the movie too, it was more creepy than scary for me. Some parts were cringey in my opinion, but I was impressed that it was a solid origins story and that it ties in very well with the first Annabelle movie.
This is good news for me. The first Conjuring is currently my favorite horror movie (not counting some old classics that I love, love). The 2nd wasn't bad but I did dislike the Annabelle movie. I saw the preview for this new one and it really looks good. Anxious to see it and now and have hopes that it won't be the flop Annabelle was to me.
Oh my god... this movie was almost the end of me!! I love gore in my movies but i cant do effing dolls man!!!! I seriously scremed IN THE THEATRE! Ive never done that either. Was freaking terrifying! I'll take rob zombie films over that any day
