Got lots of favourite books, but probably the first amazing book I read was In Cold Blood before reading this one all I ever read was horror and fantasy books, this one helped me get into a lot more genres of books. Found some amazing stuff since.
That is a tough one. When it comes to standalone probably Pride & Prejudice by Jane Austen. As far as series go, Percy Jackson and the Olympians/Heroes of Olympus by Rick Riordan
My favourite book is The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky. My favourite series are Harry Potter by J.K. Rowling, Percy Jackson and the Olympians and Heroes of Olympus by Rick Riordan, The Mortal Instruments by Cassandra Clare.
My favourite book is Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte. My fav series of books r the santangelo novels by Jackie Collins.
I have a lot.. Most of them overlap with Alma. So, The Fault in Our Stars, The Perks of Being a Wallflower, The Book Thief, The Name of the Wind, I Am the Messenger, Let it Snow, Harry Potter, Percy Jackson, The Night Circus
I have many favorite books. Just to name a few and in no particular order - Hush Hush, The Lux series. The Covenant series, Easy, Beautiful Disaster, My Favorite Mistake...

Thanks for the suggestion, Ashleigh. Just checked it out and ordered the trilogy from my library.
I have too many fave single books but as for series the I heart by Lindsey Kelk is brill.I Heart New York
The 39 Steps has to be one of my favorite books, it is well written with no flab, punchy and well plotted. I hate books were the author has sat down and written and written words words and more words just so it is 500 pages long or whatever. Give me passion and direction that's what I like and ease of reading I do not like arty farty books.
Hmmm... As far as series The Maze Runner, Anna & the French Kiss, Divergent, The Giver, and that's all I could currently think about... Those are my faves, at least so far :)
It's probably not my favourite now, but when I was younger I really enjoyed the Tomorrow series Tomorrow, When the War Began by John Marsden. Such an interesting concept & story, I thought it was great as a teenager!
If you like YA books you should check them out. The author is Australian & it's also set in Australia.
I have just found another series that I would like to recommend, it the Mapp and Lucia series by E.F.Benson. I am currently reading the fourth Mapp and Lucia
Right now I am obsessed with The Infernal Devises trilogy!

This is cliché, but Harry Potter is my favorite series. As for books I've never had it in me to pick a favorite book to be honest. If I had to pick the book that taught me the most though, probably The Fault In Our Stars?
My two favorite books (cause I can't pick between the two) Obsidian by Jennifer L. Armentrout and First Year by Rachel E. Carter I absolutely loved both of them!
For a single book I'd say first of all The Bible. Then maybe The Season, or Entwined. For a series, maybe Heist Society or The Hunger Games.

Well I have read many more series but I didn't think any series toped that series plus I'm only 12.
It is such an amazing series but I haven't gotten my hands on Fairest, Stars above and Winter but I am planning to get them soon.
YES, i have read that series and really enjoyed it. I was completely obsessed in year 4 when I was reading it and was sorting all my friends and class mates into the fractions. Hahahaha
